100 Avatars : Completed

As a kid I’ve always looked forward to class picture day, as a teen I loved photographing friends together and being in group shots, as a young adult … I still like certain group activities.

One night while re-playing Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and looking at the special features I found a photo that has all the MK character’s in it and I thought it was rad. “I bet this’d look cool with the peeps from SL in it” I said to myself, “Oh yeah it totally would” I responded to myself which I tend to do a lot. I started thinking of how to approach it, how to reel in 100 avatars, how the shooting would be like. I knew it was impossible to have 100 avatars pose all together at one time cause that’s like having your own Hair Fair and nobody wants Hair Fair without hair actually being faired so, no. I thought of taking a photo of each single avatar and then just mashing them all up as a group and that’s what I did and it worked!!

The shooting sessions were a ball! I started with a few close friends and they TP’d their friends and their friends TP’d friends etc. and people would see each other and be all ‘O HAI omg you know him/her omg that’s so fetch 3 degrees of separation shit!’ and all that jazz it was FUN and I enjoyed every second of it. The sensational Esme Milena has helped the most in TPing people in thanks muchos Esmer I owe you some foot licking or whatever <3. Dick Volare summoned in the nekos, neko-bots, an elf, a fish and furries to the set which was a delight, Gattina Dumpling bought in some interesting creatures as well THANK YOU guys and to everyone else that TP’d in a friend or two or three or four to the set, hats off to y’all!

Yadda yadda yadda, nobody reads these long ass documentations so I’ll try to wrap it up. The editing took longer than the shooting, it wasn’t easy touching up edges, levelling, adding/deducting shadows and color correcting 100 images one by one so wheew. I plan on making other versions of this, just not right now haha maybe tommorow, with other another batch on the first row so you can see their cool shoes. Shoutout to Krez McAllister for making the art version in-world denke! (I will send it to y’all later).
